Dr. Roberta Reilly is a beloved Palm Beach gynecologist with more than 20 years of experience caring for women as they navigate the ways their bodies change throughout their lives. She has special expertise in midlife women’s health, hormone management, patient education, and using integrative techniques to help her patients achieve holistic wellness.
Dr. Reilly knew from an early age she was interested in medicine. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in cell and developmental biology, she earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Reilly then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Emory University School of Medicine, where she cemented her love of caring for women.
“I appreciated obstetrics and gynecology as a profession, as I love taking care of women of all ages and different stages of life to maximize their health and wellbeing.”
Dr. Reilly started practicing at OB/GYN Specialists of the Palm Beaches and spent the next 24 years of her career there, developing deep relationships with her patients and a reputation for her empathetic approach to guiding women through the ups and downs of their medical journeys.
“I believe in listening to patients’ concerns and questions, teaching them, and empowering them to understand their health issues and diseases. I enjoy counseling patients about lifestyle choices, nutrition, sexual health, exercise, and mental health,” Dr. Reilly says.
Even when patients experience problems beyond the scope of her office, Dr. Reilly takes pride in acting as a champion for them at every step of their care. Having seen how women’s health concerns are sometimes overlooked or dismissed, Dr. Reilly makes it a point to support her patients in finding answers to any issue they encounter. “I encourage people to find their voice and to embrace owning their health,” she says.
Dr. Reilly initially provided obstetrical and gynecologic care for women across multiple hospitals in the Palm Beach area, and when she transitioned to focusing on gynecologic care, this allowed her to specialize even more in midlife health and managing the effects of changing hormones across the lifespan. She is sought after for her use of leading-edge science, incorporating a variety of evidence-based medical and holistic techniques to support her patients.
Her love for education has also led her to mentor nurse practitioners, students, and early-career doctors, and she enjoys speaking at local schools and community centers in the Palm Beach area.
Dr. Reilly joined Atria because of the opportunity to spend even more time with patients. She particularly enjoys collaborating with other specialists to examine how each woman’s health affects every system in their body. “There are a lot of unanswered questions about how different conditions affect women, and hopefully, we will soon start to get more focus on areas of women's health that have been ignored,” Dr. Reilly says. “I'm excited to see where the next decade takes us.”
When she is not working, Dr. Reilly spends time with her family in Palm Beach Gardens and enjoys exercising, practicing yoga, golfing, and traveling.
